LESS WASTE, GOOD TASTE!

Endless effort of picking up PET bottles. DONT PANIC has contributed to providing a solution to plastic waste. We put forth the slogan, “LESS WASTE, GOOD TASTE” to launch BLUE PROJECT, a sustainable project recycling PET bottles into reading glasses and sunglasses. DONT PANIC envisions a clear and endless blue sea through our BLUE PROJECT.

Through cleaning, sorting, pressing and grinding collected plastic waste, our special domestic recycle technology recreated strong but flexible, lightweight eyewear. Certified by the Japan Institute of recycled PET bottles, our sustainable eyewear is born.

The frame is made from two 500ml PET bottles.

BIO BASED LENS

Part of the lens (G15 color, as you see in the center photo) is bio based that dissolve in the ocean or the earth.

PRODUCT FEATURES

SUPER FLEXIBLE TEMPLES

Round temple designed to wrap around the head does not slip off easily and fits comfortably in active scenes like running.

PLASTIC HINGE WITH NO METAL SCREWS

Metal screws are not used which eliminates the problems of rust caused by seawater or sweat. It is also safe for those who have metal allergies. With an insert style hinge, the frame itself is impact resistant and the temples can easily be put back into the lens frame.

RECYCLE POUCH

Eyewear comes with micro fiber pouch recycled from PET bottles.

EYEWEAR CASE

Eyewear case is made from recycled paper.

LIGHTWEIGHT

Total weight with lens weighs 23g. The frame itself weighs only 14g.
