Q: I am near-sighted (or have astigmatism). Can I use these lenses?
A: There is no magnifying power on the top of the lens (clear lens). It does not correct near-field vision or astigmatism.

Q: How long does it take for the photochromic lens to darken?
A: Without any UV, it is a clear lens. When exposed to UV, it will take approximate a minute to darken. Q: Do you sell prescribed lenses (corrective lens for near-field vision or astigmatism)?
A: We do not sell any prescribed lenses. Please consult your local eye doctor if you wish to put prescribed lenses in DONT PANIC frames.

Q: I normally use reading glasses with +1.75 magnification power. Which magnification power you offer will work best?
A: We recommend getting a lower magnification power of +1.50 that has less distortions in the peripheral vision if you are choosing the progressive lens (Full Spec, Business Spec, Sun Spec), whereas a higher magnification power of +2.00 if you are choosing the single vision lens (Double Spec, Single Spec).

Q: Do you sell frames only?
A: We currently don't sell only the frames without lenses.

Q: How do I figure which magnification power to pick?
A:  In order to find the right magnification power glasses, you can go to a local eye doctor to know the correct power for your eyes. You can also print a printable diopter chart to determine your magnification power.

Q: What is the difference between the photochromic lens and the polarized lens?
A:  Photochromic feature which are reflected on our Full Spec and Double Spec models is light adaptive and the shade of the lens darken from clear to gray depending on the UV light and temperature.  Polarized feature reflected on our Sun Spec model blocks out irritating glares caused by reflected sunlight and water surfaces. 

Q: Does Sun Spec model have a photochromic feature?
A:  No. Sun Spec model is a dark color lens so there is no photochromic feature.

Q: I have difficulty seeing my feet. What should I do?
A: The lower half of the near-field lens have the magnifying power, so it will be blurred when you look at your feet. When you look down, always pull your chin in and look at the top of the lens.

Q: When I look sideways, the scenery looks blurry. What should I do?
A: Due to the structure of the lens, there are distortions in the peripheral vision (what you see on the edges when looking ahead) where the visibility changes in clarity and position. You can reduce discomfort by consciously pulling your chin in and moving your face from left to right.
